My Success Mentality:

For players that want to pursue their dreams in this great game. Sit down and ask yourself, is this something that you really want to do? Will you be consistent with training and a hard work ethic? Do you know when it is time to relax and have a good time or compete and achieve greatness? Understanding that playing on a higher level comes with a maximum effort both physically and mentally. Being talented can only get you so far, hard work is what separates you from others. Anyone and everyone is more than capable of accomplishing greatness. When you incorporate Coach Darnell`s mentality and work ethic, you will be pushed to your limits. This will not be easy, but I guarantee that you will grow into a better version of yourself. If you believe in me and my coaching philosophy I will get you to where you need to be.

“On A Higher Level”

How I Started

I started playing baseball at the age of 7 at a little league and eventually transitioned over to a more competitive baseball lifestyle with travel baseball at the age of 9. I would travel and play in Delaware, Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Nebraska, and many more states. During the spring, summer, and fall season I played as much baseball as I could, in the winter I trained on my strength and conditioning to get into the best shape to prepare myself for the following season. This was the baseball lifestyle that I chose and I would do it all over again if I could.
